The Portland Metro Pacific Green Party of Oregon is hosting an organizational meeting on Wednesday, August 25th, at the SE Lucky Lab in their meeting room, 915 SE Hawthorne Blvd. The room is reserved from 7pm to midnight, but is agenda-driven until the meeting closes. Business will begin promptly at 7pm.
We will have a table at this event, and need volunteers to staff it!

This October, a group of internationally known speakers headed by Noam Chomsky will join academics, activists, and visionary thinkers from the Northwest region in Portland, Oregon to explore the way forward out of the twin crises challenging humanity. The gathering will take place in downtown Portland at the First Unitarian Church, whose members have a long history of aiding campaigns promoting social justice and environmental preservation, and at nearby Portland State University.
Folks as some of you know the Metro Chapter of the Pacific Green Party is a Participating Organization in the EcoNvergence Convention that is happening Oct 2-4 in Portland. The keynote speakers are Noam Chomsky & Derrick Jensen.
I would like to invite Portland-area Greens to Thursday's weekly meeting of the Metro Portland chapter of the Pacific Green Party. The meeting will take place at the Bipartisan Cafe at 7901 SE Stark Street in Portland. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. I will be discussing the first six months of my tenure as the first Pacific Green Party member ever elected to a city council office in metropolitan Portland.
